剧情简介：
抗日战争时期，恬静纯朴的小县城沦陷，兴汉中学校长杜兴汉、女儿湘灵以及教员李月亭等积极抵制日本人的文化侵略。寡母为救被捕的月亭，向敌人出卖了学校抗日组织。月亭获释，而校长和几名学生则入狱。月亭知道真相后，更坚定了抗日的信念，他和湘灵一起，冒着生命危险，向全体师生宣读校长在狱绝食而死时留下的遗书，号召全体人们行动起来，共同团结抗日。
